Great memories of my first TLG show. As a veteran of over a hundred shows (GD,Phish,Mike ONLY WSP,Mule,YMSB, etc), I'm always on the lookout for new great music that moves me. I fell in love with these boys about 2 years ago. Never caught up with them until last month at this show. First ones in, front row in front of Josh all night. Very happy to find out Ben/Russo/Mathis trio to open. Fungus Amongus and the high points of the night for me were as follows: beauty Josh opener, Devil had us dancin' and sweatin' right out the gate, Gotta go go, and a evil inspired Devils pay to close out 1st set.
2nd set was in fact longer than I remember it. Lots of high points, Shallows, vote (Josh crushed it),Jezebel, and the jam out of Not Fit into Money was most memorable! Thanks Guys I really needed it. The crowd in NYC was great and the security at the venue was cool as cool can be.
A very BIG cudos and many thanks to who ever made my first TLG available!! Anything you need, you let me know.
The sound quality of this show is just how I heard it. Raw, small hall, great crowd banter, the band comes through nice, drums are a little loud, but that's a good thing IMPO.
Download it now my friends.
See you at the show
PEACE,
SG

Subject: Amazing Show, Great Recording.
Had the pleasure of being at this show, and what a treat is was. Really fun watching Trevor work the keys. These guys are truely amazing and need to make it to NYC more often.
Thanks for the recording.
